All Eggs in the English Basket?

8 months ago I started doing research on languages beyond English. As I have mentioned before, we invest a lot in creating VRE, and it made sense in investing beyond English language websites. After all, what percentage of all Internet traffic is English ? As with most data on the internet, there are conflicting reports on this one too…
- One report mentions that only 42% of today’s traffic is in English
- Another says that this is as low as 39%
- Still another says that 45% of the traffic in the world is still happening in the US
- One report says that Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Malay together account for 15% of the traffic
